Another tutorial I've been wanting to do for a while. Photoshop, make sure you know what I'm talking about before you get into anything. This one's pretty simple.

Set this light texture, by floorshow, over it on lighten, 100%

Set the type over it, Book Antiqua, kerned when needed. I tucked it specifically against the light texture so it would be somewhat legiable.


I set this texture over it by lvlwings on hard light, 100%

Set this gradient, screen, 64%

yeah, still looks ugly, I know. Grab the base layer, bring it to the top, desaturate it, sharpen it, and set it at overlay 100%

While you're at it, grab the text layers and set them above the desaturated base, setting them to overlay 100% too


Next, take this texture by dearest and set it at soft light, 100%

Then set rgb color #0F2339 at exclusion over the top, and behold, a fabulous icon.
